Pure Universe founder, Ash Gholkar has experience leading and volunteering in various not-for-profits, education and community events for 30+ years. He is a successful entrepreneur with businesses in management consulting and education. He’s also founder-director of a community organisation and an international cultural festival. A strong advocate of living a minimalistic natural and organic life, Ash is a firm believer in the saint Sai Baba of Shirdi and his tutelary diety Sri Ekvira of Karla, both in India. He has also spent time understanding the difference between religion and religiosity in the ashrama of Bhagwan Osho Rajneeh in Pune, India. His mantra is dharma and karma.

Ash's formative years went in the pursuit of spirituality and divinity, aquainting himself with scriptures of all major religions. He had his calling in 1991 when he travelled the Himalayas and spent time with Buddhist monks in McLeodganj, the seat of His Holiness The Dalai Lama.

All along Ash has strived to strike a balance between family life and service of the community. His aspiration has been to bring more people to pursue a holistic life sans fears and dogmas, immersed in the great knbowledge and traditions of Indic philosophy, as enshrined in the Hindu, Buddhist and Jain scriptures.
